United States Botanic Gardens

This project was an interesting one.  I was tasked to create almost 24 images of Poison Ivy, Jimsonweed and Ragweed for an exhibition at the United States Botanic Gardens in Washington DC. The assignment was to capture these plants in different aspects of their growth.  Full plant, leaves, pollen, flowers and seeds photos for each plant. 

The designer was familiar with my shooting style and thought it would lend itself to her vision of 3 transparent plexiglass panels to help the visitors identify these plants.
